The 2009 season was an awesome season for the Fusion girls.  The team won 20 matches and lost none over the course of the tournament and the fall regular PAGS season going 11 and 0 in tournament play and 9 and 0 in PAGS.  The Fusion won the Harleysville and Oley Valley tournaments and also won their flight at the Cape May tournament. The Fusion also won the PAGS U9 Division 3 championship.  All total, the Fusion scored 98 goals in 20 matches averaging almost 5 goals per match while surrendering only 6 goals for an unbelievable .3 goals against average.  The Fusion girls also clearly demonstrated the can play at a higher level handily beating two Division 2 opponents in the Cape May tournament and losing a tough fought 3-2 friendly scrimmage against Westmont’s Division 1 A team.    

The U9 Fusion girls started off the season by competing in the Harleysville Tournament held in early August.  The team won all 4 matches in dominating fashion scoring 22 goals and surrendering just one.  The Fusion girls received many positive comments about their superb play.
