Spring Intramural 2010
Pee Wee Program - Ages 4 and 5
The Pee Wee program starts the weekend of April 11th and ends the weekend of May 15th. Pee Wee sessions are held on Saturdays at Redtail field. There will be a Pee Wee session on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend.
Ages 6 -14
All other age groups will play April 11 through May 23rd. Games are played on Sunday at Redtail field. They will not play on Sunday May 9th, Mother's Day. The spring games are played on short fields and are 4 v 4. It is a great way for the kids to develop their ball skills and
Coaches are needed. You can volunteer to coach through the registartion site. Thank you.
Make up dates if needed will be the weekend of June 5th.

Methacton United’s Intramural program’s goal is to develop an interest in soccer, introduce basic soccer skills and have fun! We emphasize skill development, sportsmanship and teamwork. At the younger ages, the emphasis should be exclusively on having fun, learning the basics of the game and getting all players involved in the game. We use professional trainers in our Pee Wee Program to emphasize the development of the b
asic skills and ensure proper age appropriate training.
As players get older, having fun is still the number one priority but keeping score and having referees become part of the routine. All players and
parents are reminded that player development, enjoyment and sportsmanship are what intramurals is all about. Always support and cheer your child’s effort and involvement and not just the results.
