General Rules

Times

U7 – play 20 min halves  NO GOALIES

U9 and U12  - play 25 min halves  GOALIES

U16 Coed  - play 30 min halves   GOALIES

1.     Once the period begins time is continuous.

2.     Substitutions – U7 Sub at the stop of any play.

All other age groups – Sub on any goal kick and any throw in.

3.     Play restart – U7 – no throws ins. Use a free kick to restart. Make sure opposing team is 10 yards back from restart.  Also make sure opposing team is 10 yards back from any goal or corner kick.

All other age groups – Use throw in for ball out on sidelines. Corners and goal kicks played as normal.

4. Free kicks/Penalties – all restarts are indirect. Ball must be played off another player

5. Coaches are to stay on the sidelines.  Do not coach on the field. (unless there is no referee-then coaches should each referee a half). Coaches need to ensure proper play (no pushing, tripping or improper kicking) during game. Good sportsmanship must be stressed at all ages!

6.     Slide tackles are not allowed at any age!!!!! Play is stopped and other team gets free kick.

           7. Coaches are to play each player at least half of a game.
